Ravago Greece Group is a group of companies specialized in the following fields of activities: Manufacturing, Chemicals, Plastics & Elastomers, Building & Construction Solutions, Renewable Energy & Real Estate. It has a remarkable presence in the Greek Market for more than 35 years and after the recent acquisitions counts more than 400 employees all over Greece. Head Offices are located in Maroussi, Attica, while there also are 11 plants, facilities & warehouses in strategic locations around Greece.

Group has invested in the Head Offices in Neratziotissa which are LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Gold certified that guarantees strict compliance with the highest international standards in environmental protection, energy efficiency, indoor quality (IEQ) and in the overall quality of the workplace and was awarded the Gold Prize for Workplace Health & Safety in May 2021.

Corporate Social Responsibility is one of Group’s attributes that distinguishes and differentiates Ravago Greece in the market. Humanitarian, sports & health, and lifelong education focused initiatives are strengthening and supporting Ravago’s core values, while also promoting employees’ potentials in an anthropocentric approach.  

Ravago Greece Group Major Milestones

Start

1985

Ravago Plastics Hellas SA (Plastics & Elastomers Segment) was founded and at that time had its own Commercial Office, a Recycling Unit in Nea Artaki Chalkida and warehouses.

2000

Ravago Plastics Hellas SA is responsible for the Distribution/Sales of the Ravago & Resinex portfolio in Greece. Resinex Group, a member of Ravago Group Global, is the dedicated Pan – European Distributor of Plastic Raw Materials & Elastomers.

2007

Diolkos Kataskevastiki ATE (Real Estate Segment) was founded. Photovoltaic Parks Fyllo SA & Medon SA were founded.

2013

Ravago Group expanded its position in the EPS sector in Europe by making one extra step. The company has acquired the ex Department of the Styron Group located in Germany, under the name Ravapor GmBH and became one of the biggest EPS producers in Europe, with a production capacity over 280.000 tons annually.

2016

Ravago Group further strengthened its position in the Greek market with the acquisition of AV.IP – Construction Insulating Ltd (Building Solutions Segment). The company started as a family business producing few bituminous products and almost simultaneously with its acquisition, was merged with Ravago Hellas Building Solutions SA. Two more acquisitions took place, of Delta Chemicals SA and Pentaplast SA

2018

Diamorfotiki & Diamorfotiki Viotia’s merged. Ravago Hellas Building Solutions SA & Diamorfotiki merged. DOW XPS Production Units in Greece were acquired by the Group.

2019

Dr. D. A. Delis’s was acquired & merged with Ravago Chemicals Hellas SA. Pentaplast SA and Delta Chemicals SA were merged. Pentaplasta SA was rebranded to Pegasus Polymers SA (Plastics & Elastomers Segment) Ravatherm Hellas SA was rebranded to Ravago Katerini SA (Building Solutions Segment).

1984

The first company of Ravago Greece Group, Polykem SA (Building & Construction Solutions Segment) was founded.

1993

Ravago Plastics Hellas SA became Distributor for Dow Chemicals.

2002

Ravago Plastics Hellas SA expanded its activities into the Balkan area.

2012

Ravago Group acquired Monotez SA (Manufacturing Segment) and its sister company Eastchem in Turkey (today named as Ravago Petrokimya Uretim AS/ Eastchem).

2014

VELTRO SA (Chemicals Segment) joined Ravago Greece Group and the Chemicals segment was officially established. Polykem was merged with its subsidiaries.

2015

Polykem SA was rebranded to Ravago Hellas Building Solutions SA. Ravago Plastics Hellas SA was rebranded to Resinex Hellas SA.

2017

VELTRO SA was rebranded to Ravago Chemicals Hellas SA. Viopar Energy SA (Renewable Energy Segment) was acquired by Ravago Greece Group. Ravatherm Hellas SA was founded by a new joint venture
